Now for the worries...

I am kinda worried about Tuesday. Mugger Bear has to have surgery to remove the cyst from his head and the lump from his tongue. I hate vet bills. We just took him for his checkup, now he has to have the surgery, and in the fall he has to go back for his therapy dog checkup. I imagine that he will have to go back to have the stitches removed from his head too. I guess that they are doing the lump removal on his tongue with a laser. There won't be any stitches there. I hope he isn't in much pain. I guess I am just a worried mother. It is really going to be lonely on Tuesday. He goes to work with me everyday.

Here are some photos of him.

This is when he "ran for President". We made t-shirts of this photo.

Mugger in his Halloween costume from this year. He was quite the cute little dinosaur.

This is what he really thought of the costume and photo shoot. He is such an expressive little guy!

This is when we walked in the Race for the Cure last year. We walked in memory of my grandma (who taught me how to crochet) and my friend Georgia. We also walked in celebration of another friend. It was funny, Mugger decided to take a break about halfway through the walk. He sat down in the middle of where everyone was walking and caused a traffic jam.

This was our Christmas card photo from this year. He is such a little trooper. From the costume fittings to the photo shoot.

So, please think good thoughts and pray for him on Tuesday.

More FO's!!!

So, I am finally getting around to posting everything else from the previous post! These are the hotpads that I made for my mom for Mother's Day.

Close up of the stitches and yarn,

This is one of the dishcloths that I crocheted for her. It actually matches better that the photo shows.

These are more of the preemie hats that I made to donate to Glens Falls Hospital.

Phew!! I feel better now that I got those posted. Now for all of the dishcloths and hotpads that I have finished since then. This could take a while. Those dishcloths are so addicting! Guess that is what everyone will be getting for Christmas this year!!

Finally got some photos taken

Phew!!! This one is going to be a doozy!!! I can't even remember how many projects that I have gotten done since I last posted.

For those of you waiting for the sock photo....ummm....well.....you are going to have to wait a little longer. I still have to get it off of the needles! I know, I am pathetic!!

Pardon my scatterbrainedness...I am waiting for the photos to load and I am working on the silver recovery machine at work (believe me, it is not pretty!).

First of all, I got a bunch of prayer shawls done. The first 2 are for my shawl ministry group, and the last 2 were for people in my church.

I will have to post more later. It is time to go home for the day. I have a wedding to shoot tomorrow! Wish me luck!!

So...Ummm...Yeah

I finished one of the socks I started (except for the kitchner stitch). Am I nuts to start more that one when I am first starting knitting them??? I also have 66 squares done for my friend who is going to make afghans out of them and bring them to Africa with her in June to hand out to children. And I have 2 more preemie hats done and one more on the needles. Still have to get my mom's second cousin's prayer shawl done (why is it so painful for me to work on this???). I almost finished a prayer shawl to donate to the online group that I am a part of. And I started another one. Boy, I am starting to sound like an ADD knitter/crocheter!!! I have a shopping bag that I started a couple of weeks ago (this is the possible Christmas gift for everyone this year). So...I will keep stashbusting with the squares, shawls and hats. And eventually I will get photos of everything up and posted. (Boy I have a lot to get done!!!)

SOCKS!!! I know....I can't believe it either! I am almost done with the first sock. What really boggles my mind is that I started it on Sunday and it is almost done! Photos coming soon!

A little charity knitting...a prayer shawl...

Finally I accomplished enough to post again!!

First of all I have a prayer shawl (throw) for my friend Andrew. Andrew is in the Army and was shot in Iraq3 times in the left calf. I felt that he needed a prayer shawl to offer him some comfort. Anyone that reads this, could you just say a little prayer for him or think a good thought for him? It would be much appreciated. This is the throw that I knitted for him (it only took me 2 and a half weeks and starting over 5 times and it has many mistakes in it, but I figure life isn't perfect so why should this throw be.)

...and here is a cose up of the ripple pattern that I used.

I finally got around to photographing the prayer cloths that I made for the Prayer Cloth Ministry. Here they are with their close ups.

...and my knitting group that I go to in Saratoga is making preemie hats. I also had a angel pouch made up that I am going to send along with the hats. The angel pouch is for a stillborn or preemie that is too weak to make it. It is a very sad thing to make, but I just had to keep reminding myself that some little baby was going to need this. We are making them for Glens Falls Hospital.

Now I have a few projects going. I am making an Eco Friendly Shopping Bag, more baby hats, afghan squares for the group that meets in Albany, the prayer shawl fr my mom's second cousin (I really have to finish that), and I just bought yarn to make the wristlets that are in the Punk Knits book. Nothing like having a few projects going!!
