Happy Birthday to my sweetie!!

For holidays and birthdays, Andrew and I usually give each other things for the house that we will use together. This year, I gave him things that will match our kitchen.

I made him towel toppers for these grape towels.

I made him pear, apple, and grapes dishcloths. The designs really don't show up too well in these photos, but trust me they are pear, apple and grapes.

...and I also made him plain dishcloths to match the pear, apple and grape ones.

I made something to brighten someone's day.

I have a friend who had a rough September. She had a lot of things go wrong in her life in one month. I made her these and sent her some of my handmade soaps and lotions to brighten her day.

So...I actually sold a few things...

I had some people ask me to make them some things so they could buy them from me. I had a woman from one of my knitting groups to make her some stitch markers. These are the stitch markers that I made for her.

I also had a woman ask Andrew's sister's mother-in-law, Stella where she got her scarf. She told the woman that I had made it for her for Christmas. The woman gave Stella her phone number and asked her to give it to me. She requested that I make her the same scarf that I made for Stella. And this is the scarf. It is made out of Lion Brand Fancy Fur on Size 13 needles.

Happy Birthday, Heather! (and numerous dishcloths)

Yet another birthday and more kitchen goodies (I swear there is a trend going on here). This time I decided to do a sage green.

I also got a bunch of dishcloths done for Christmas presents.

This has now caught me up on the projects that I have completed and photographed. There is still a lot more to photograph and put together.

Happy 65th Anniversary, Sam and Stella

Andrew's sister, Lisa's in-laws celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in August. If you think about it, 65 years is quite a feat! There is not that many of us these days that will end up being married 65 years. I decided to make them things for their kitchen (anyone noticing a trend here...)
I made them an angel dishcloth...Stella loves her angels!!

I made them some plain dishcloths

...and since their kitchen has sunflowers, I made them sunflower potholders and towels.
