Not too bad for a first timer! It was such an amazing feeling to actually make socks, I had to make another pair.
...and here they are together.

and this is what he looks like now...
This is what the bump on his tongue looked like...
I haven't been able to get an after photo of the tongue yet. He hasn't been panting long enough for me to get out the camera and get a photo of it. I will tell you that the spot where the bump on the tongue used to be is pink.
He is doing pretty good. He sleeps a lot (like he always did). He got up and greeted a customer yesterday for the first time at about 3-4pm. He can't have crunchy food yet (which means no cookies), and he can't eat grass for a while (he loves grass - especially the broad leaf kind - it is sweeter). He gets his stitches out on June 18. He has only worn the cone head collar once and that was when we brought him home. He will probably have to wear it again when the hair starts to grow back and he will be itchy.
Mugger in his Halloween costume from this year. He was quite the cute little dinosaur.
This is what he really thought of the costume and photo shoot. He is such an expressive little guy!
This is when we walked in the Race for the Cure last year. We walked in memory of my grandma (who taught me how to crochet) and my friend Georgia. We also walked in celebration of another friend. It was funny, Mugger decided to take a break about halfway through the walk. He sat down in the middle of where everyone was walking and caused a traffic jam.
This was our Christmas card photo from this year. He is such a little trooper. From the costume fittings to the photo shoot.
So, please think good thoughts and pray for him on Tuesday.

These are the knitted dishcloths that I made for mom.

These are more of the preemie hats that I made to donate to Glens Falls Hospital.
Phew!! I feel better now that I got those posted. Now for all of the dishcloths and hotpads that I have finished since then. This could take a while. Those dishcloths are so addicting! Guess that is what everyone will be getting for Christmas this year!!
